- Taking immediate action when concerns arise regarding the suitability of employees or volunteers once they have begun their role.
- Ensuring all new staff and volunteers take part in a comprehensive induction, which includes child protection and safeguarding training.
- Maintaining clear, accessible supporting procedures that align with this policy, including recruitment, vetting, induction, supervision, and safeguarding processes.
- Regularly reviewing this policy, noting the date it comes into force and the schedule for review, to ensure ongoing compliance with statutory guidance and best practice.
