The role of the Governing Body is key in ensuring the successful development in the school. At Oldfield Brow, the Headteacher is a governor but there are many others from a variety of backgrounds that help make the important decisions in the life of ouir school.

Some of our Governors are parents of the school, some are those that have been parents of the school and some have never been parents of the school! But what is important is that they all care about the direction in which the school is developing! All governors ensure that financial outcomes and academic outcomes are closely monitored, checked and developed in line with whole-school policies.
